Miss Hailey Grace...

Well I made it to 32 weeks which I was told by Doctors that I most likely wouldn't do seeing as Madison was born at 32 weeks. Well I had a Doctor appointment today and they measured my belly and said everything was growing right and yada yada... and we heard Miss Hailey's heartbeat and it sounded great. The Dr then decided that she wanted to do some cultures to see if my body was preparing itself for labor, in which case we wont know the results until my next Dr. visit next Tuesday. Which is another thing, they want to see me every week now to keep an eye on things going on. She did an internal check and found that I am 1 centimeter dialated but said that wasn't that big of a deal since this is my 4th child. They do however want to do a sonogram of my cervix tomorrow to see if it has shortened. She said if it has then they will want to start giving me steroid shots for Miss Hailey's lungs. So keeps us in your prayers please. I know not matter when she comes, that God will take care of her.

(I found it easier to blog about this than to tell each individual person)

Florida Residence...

Well we are finally here. It felt like it took forever to drive down, I am not one to drive long distances. I don't mind riding them at all just hate driving. But we finally got here Wednesday night around 6pm. We have pretty much everything unpacked and in it's place. The rest is in storage until we find a house to buy. The house we are in now is fully furnished and beautiful... It doesn't really feel like we live here yet. It feels like just another vacation, I am sure the reality will settle in soon though.

The town we are staying in is called Wimauma (Why-Momma is how it's pronounced) It's a very small town with retired people and it's infested with mexicans. SERIOUSLY! Also mexicans obviously have some sort of thing with Roosters because they are everywhere. Josh left the other morning to head to storage and said he had to stop so a rooster and it's baby's could cross the street and he said he thought to himself "Where the freak am I?" LOL! But it's very nice here minus the 5 AM rooster crows (I guess you would call them).

Please keep my husband and us in your prayers as this is a transition for our family. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us and the great things he is going to be doing in the University church. We love and miss all of you back home!

PS... Like my new background? I ~L O V E~ it!!

Thanks for the Prayers...

Thank you all for your prayers for our family during this time in our lives of Josh losing his job and us losing our home... We have prayed and prayed for God to open the doors for us to stay in the Ministry because it's where our hearts are and where we feel called to be.

Well we have had one pastor call us and want to meet with us. So when we went to Florida we met with the Pastor and his wife. We were still unsure of if this was the job we should take or not. But the more we prayed and the more we thought about it we realized that God had opened a door for us to stay in ministry and this was it. There were no other doors open. So we have decided to step through the door and take this position.

We are really excited because we know God has great things in store for us and our family. Of course, it will be very hard to leave our family and friends here in Maryland especially seeing as Josh has spent 27 years in Maryland and I have spend 11. So please keep praying for us as you all have been. As of now it looks like we will be moving the week before or the week after Easter.

My Husband Rocks...

My Husband Rocks....

Because he knows me so well... He knows exactly how to make me smile when I am having a cruddy day or a very stressful day. Just like today... in which case he had a lot of stuff to do today and so I stayed home and packed the house like crazy. He felt so bad that I had done it all by myself. So we went to the Bowling Alley where he bowls on a league every Friday night and they said, "Will Carrie Bowyer please come to the front desk?" So I went up there and they had an edible arrangment of Chocolate covered strawberries for me from my wonderful husband!

I LOVE YOU BABY!! Thank You!

My Husband Rocks Friday...

My Husband Rocks Because....

He is so giving. He is always thinking of ways to help others and sometimes I think if I didn't make him think about stuff before he did it he would probably give away everything we had. LOL! But he really is a great man and he has such a big heart for helping people.

Example...
Last night we had our big family outting to Wal-Mart and it was freezing cold so on our way out he saw a little old woman fighting with in the cold and with the wind to get her groceries in her car. So he said lets hurry and I'll help you get the kids and the groceries in the car so that I can go help that little old woman. So he rushed and threw all of our stuff in and helped us get situated and went back to help the woman and she had already finished putting her stuff away. So he came back and got in the truck looking so disappointed that he wasn't able to help her out. See what a good man he is!!

Are you PREPARED?

Pre-Pare

verb, -pared, -par⋅ing.
–verb (used with object)
1. to put in proper condition or readiness: to prepare a patient for surgery.

2. to get (a meal) ready for eating, as by proper assembling, cooking, etc.

3. to manufacture, compound, or compose: to prepare a cough syrup.

4. Music. to lead up to (a discord, an embellishment, etc.) by some preliminary tone or tones.

–verb (used without object) 5. to put things or oneself in readiness; get ready: to prepare for war.

Are you prepared? I always ask God's will for our family... I always ask for God to take us to the next level... But am I prepared? I want to do everything I can to be prepared.

The other day I was having a horrible day just thinking about the move and no place to move to or any signs of anything... But I have been telling people we are praying and believing that God is preparing something great for us.. But were we really?

When this thought hit me it hit me like a ton of bricks and I felt like I was doubting God. I was telling people we were believing and having faith but yet we hadn't obviously had enough faith in God because not ONE thing in our home had been packed. So therefore I haven't been preparing myself and my family for God to take us to the next level... or the next place he has for us.

I hope all of you who read this... look at your life and see what you can do to prepare your family or your house hold for what God has in store for you. Don't just sit back and wait...

Miss Hailey Grace!

Sorry the picture isn't the greatest but I took a picture of the sonogram picture in order to get it on here... In this picture you can see her profile and her belly and her legs are curled up in front of her stomach. I only described it because my Mom always says, "Carrie, I don't see anything!" Ha Ha!

Baby Baby!

So incase you haven't heard... It is indeed a GIRL! I couldn't be happier! We have decided to name her Hailey Grace but I am still trying to figure out if that's how I want to spell it or not.

My husband was wanting another boy. He had made the statement that he thinks it would be easier to share his love between 3 boys than it would be between 2 little girls. Which I some what understand where he is coming from... Because Madison came along and was/is our princess. She can put a smile on anyones face and of course she is spoiled so much because she is the only girl. So I often worry how she will feel once the new baby comes along. I wouldn't ever want her to be jealous or feel replaced. But I know it's something we will deal with when and if it comes up. I truely feel since Madison is so little she won't be that way and she will just be happy with a baby in the house because she LOVES babies.

I will try and post an ultra sound picture once I get back home.

April's Picnik Contest...

April, if you need these bigger or anything just let me know.

Monday, Monday!....

I don't have anything particular to write about today but felt like writing....

I am still slightly annoyed with the outcome of the Superbowl... Football is a sport I love, it's a sport I understand so much about and it's a sport my husband and I share the same passion for. So as I watched the game last night, I was so dissapointed at so many of the calls that were made. I see the Steelers as a team with such bad attitudes and bad sportsmanship. I don't feel that way because of any of their pasts or because of anything that they do off the field... I feel that way because of how nasty they play on the field. It just really aggrevates me that they are pretty much getting rewarded for having bad attitudes.

I guess in the end I did find something particular to write about.

Alone...

Well the hubbys birthday has gone great... We dropped the kids off at my mother-in-laws and went and had dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse... SO WONDERFUL! Then we went to see a late night movie together and now here we are for what feels like the first time in our house just the two of us.... It's so quiet and actually nice. (well baby 4 is here but out of sight out of mind, right?) Goodnight all! Hope you all have a blessed evening!!

Wednesday...

So today is Wednesday, a day that I look forward to. I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my wonderful kids and I love it... But honestly you can get pretty lonely when the conversations you have day in and day out are with children under the age of 5. So I look forward to Wenesday so I can go to church and be able to worship and fellowship, while my children are in class learning. So that also leads me to say, "Thank God for the teachers at Church!"

On a different note... We had to get rid of our puppy, Bailey because her breed isn't good with kids and once she reached a certain age she pretty much turned on the kids and started biting them and it's something we tried to deal with but she wouldn't change. So we gave her to lady in our church and she is doing great there.... Well my mother-in-law's dog had puppies and she is going to let us have one. They are only 4 weeks at this point but absolutely adorable! Our puppy is a little boy and we have decided to name him Maddox. We are so excited to add him to our family. Here is a picture of him at 3 weeks when his eyes had just started to open.

HELP!

Ok so Thursday is my husbands birthday... he is one of those guys who has pretty much everything he could ever want and if he doesn't have it then it's because it's WAY out of our price range... So I am needing ideas as to what to get him for his birthday. He is very romantic and likes that kind of stuff... but I lack in the romantic department. LOL!

My Husband Rocks!!

My Husband Rocks.... Gosh I can think of so many ways today as to why my husband rocks... My husband has blessed me with 3 beautiful children and a 4th on the way... But he does so much and works SO unbelievable hard to make sure that I am able to stay home with our kids. Though we live on a tight budget because we have chosen the lifestyle of having (so many) kids, he still finds ways to make even walking around the mall fun. I couldn't ask for a better husband or father!

New To This...

Ok so obviously I have just started this whole blogging thing... So bare with me while I try to figure it out. Also if you have any tips or ideas to help me out.... I always welcome them!

I don't think I have a very creative mind when it comes to writing, so I never thought I would be good at blogging. But someone had mentioned... With 3 kids life in itself has to be interesting so I figured I would give it a try.
